Dear Confluence Experts, Normally, Atlassian release a new LTS version ~once a year. As we know, Data Center is expected to retire in 2029 So I wonder what is the plan until 2029, should we expect additional LTS versions after V10.2?
Hi @david cockrell ,
I'd say the best bet would be to monitor Data Center roadmap ποΈ I mean, it will not say anything about upcoming LTS releases, but I suspect that, as it's still 2026 and there are 2.5 years until we reach EOL, there will be one or two LTS's still π€ But that's only my mere observation and thinking.
Don't know if anyone else has insider info, but you could check with Atlassian Support if they can maybe share any additional info π«£
Also, as 10.2.19 is latest LTS released on 5th of Oct 2026 + LTS's are officially valid for 2 years, there will/must be at least one more official LTS before March 28, 2029. That's if my math is correct π
Cheers, Tobi
Hi @david cockrell
Confluence 11.0 was released on October 8, but it's not an LTS.
Atlassian's updated release strategy still allows future LTS releases, but there's no confirmed schedule for the next one.
Confluence 10.2 LTS remains supported until December 2, 2027.

Another LTS could be on the way, but nothing's officially confirmed yet. π If you want the best info, it might be a good idea to reach out to Atlassian Support. We know a lot, but not everything. :)πΆβπ«οΈ
