Cannot login to the account admin created with email with + suffix (e.g.: name.surn+jira@examp.com)

Question

I'm trying to log in to the account, and it is sending a confirmation code to my email. But I registered an account with a +jira suffix. I have tried logging in and resetting my password many times, but I haven't received any emails.

What can be done here? Could you merge the account with the existing one without +jira?

PS: I first created an account without the suffix, but I misspelled the space name and created another one with the +jira suffix. Now I'm struggling to manage that space since I'm the owner of the space, and other admins still don't have enough permissions.

Atlassian accounts with different email addresses cannot be merged. Try sending a test email to your address, if it doesn’t arrive, check if your email provider supports plus-addressing.

When regular emails arrive but Atlassian verification codes don't, ask your mail administrator to check delivery logs and contact Atlassian Support.

Atlassian has also a documented admin recovery process that may help restore access.
