Co-Founder passed away. Confluence page deleted due to inactivity

Hi all,

My co-founder passed away recently, and he was the one who managed our Atlassian site. It looks like it was deactivated for inactivity, and the warning emails went to his inbox, so I never saw them.

A lot of important company information lives on that site, and I need it both to keep his work going and for some legal paperwork. I've opened a support ticket (CA-4284749), but I wanted to ask here as well in case someone at Atlassian can take a look.

Could someone check the status of the site and let me know whether it can still be restored or exported? Any pointers would be really appreciated.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Was this a Free subscription? Do you know when anybody last accessed the content? There is a timeline for warning emails and deactivation, and a short period of time during which the data can be recovered. After that has expired Atlassian permanently deletes the data. They don't keep any backup from which it can be restored.

I hope your data can be recovered. I will try to escalate your post to Atlassian team members, but I don't know if that will help in this case because the escalation recipients don't handle deactivated site restoration.

But here as community members, we do not have access to Atlassian’s internal systems, backend databases, or support queues, so no one in this public forum can directly inspect your site status or open ticket CA-4284749.

A community champion or community manager can flag this post for the Atlassian support team's attention, given the sensitive circumstances and the data retention deadline. @Trudy P Claspill would you be able help here?
