Confluene Whiteboards: Show only one collaborator cursor

Question

Whenever my team is working on a shared whiteboard, it's hard to focus for me:

I can either show no collaborator cursor, or all collaborator cursors.

When one person is leading the session, both options are not ideal:

Showing no collaborator cursor makes it hard for me to follow to the leading person.

Showing all collaborator cursors is super distracting because of all the colors and movement.

It would be great if, when I'm following one collaborator specifically, only that person's cursor would be visible.

You’re not alone. I searched Atlassian'’s public CONFCLOUD tracker for open whiteboard suggestions mentioning cursors and found no existing request. The only existing suggestion

that is close is about a private mode on whiteboards.

I know two ways to get your suggestion submitted:

* The quickest option is in-product feedback. In Confluence, click the (?) icon in the top navigation, then select Give feedback. Describe the use case, including why screen sharing isn’t an option for your team. For me, the real workshop scenarios is important.

* To get a public ticket others can vote on, request a feature suggestion in the CONFCLOUD project through support.atlassian.com. Share the link or ticket number here so we can upvote it.

Thanks for the reply. My team routinely decides against screen sharing every time I bring this up. So I guess this is a bit of a me problem, but I refuse to believe I am the only person on earth who gets distracted by many moving cursors and confused by no moving cursors.

I will look into how I can submit this as product feedback.
