Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some guidance on a repository size issue.
A few days ago we removed some large files that had been committed by mistake. We rewrote
the history and force-pushed the cleaned branches on 2026-10-10/11. A fresh mirror clone is
now much smaller, but the size shown in Bitbucket hasn't changed:
- co-xtratoph-admin-ft: ~485 MB in Bitbucket, ~16 MB as a fresh clone
- co-jema-gym-ft: ~129 MB in Bitbucket, ~24 MB as a fresh clone
From the docs, I understand that garbage collection only runs automatically above 75% of
the repository limit, and that otherwise support has to run it. We're on the Free plan
(workspace "jmateusarias", currently ~763 MB of 1 GB), so we can't open a support ticket.
Is there anything we can do on our side to free that space, or is a server-side garbage
collection the only way? If it's the latter, would it be possible for someone from the
team to help with it?
Thanks a lot for any advice!
