I want to delete my account.

Question

Today, I made 2 accounts with 2 email.

I didn't set my 2 accounts for premium plan, but the site automatically signed premium plan. I tried several times to change plan and 'Something went wrong' message applied.

Can I make my account for free plan? Or can I delete my account?

Hi 이준범,

When you create a new Jira Cloud site it starts on a free trial of a paid plan (30 days for Premium). Nothing is billed unless you add payment details, and you can switch to Free or close the site yourself. Here is how, for each of the two sites.

Switch the site to the Free plan

* Log in with the account that created the site and go to admin.atlassian.com/billing (or Settings, then Billing, then Manage subscriptions on the site).
* Select Subscriptions, find Jira and select Manage.
* Select Change plan, pick Free and confirm.

Free allows up to 10 users on Jira, so with one person on the site the change goes through. Deactivating the subscription during the trial also ends the trial.

Delete the site instead

If you do not need the site at all: same place, Subscriptions, select Manage next to Jira, then more actions, then Deactivate. Free plan sites are deactivated straight away as far as i remember.

Delete the Atlassian account

Only do this after the site is on Free or deactivated, because deleting the account does not cancel a subscription.

* Go to id.atlassian.com/manage-profile.
* Select Account preferences.
* In Delete your account, select Delete account and confirm.

The account is deleted after a 14 day grace period. If you change your mind in that time, log in and select Cancel deletion.

One more thing: I suggest you edit your question and remove the two email addresses. This is a public forum, and nobody here needs them to help you.

Yes, to both……!

* Why it shows Premium: New Cloud sites automatically start on a 30-day free trial of Premium. If you didn't enter credit card details, you will not be charged.
* Switch to Free:* Go to Global settings→ Billing → Subscriptions.
* Click Manage (or Change plan) next to the product and select Free (supports up to 10 users).

* Delete Account / Site:* Delete Atlassian Account: Go to Account settings → scroll to the bottom → Delete account.
* Cancel/Delete Site only: Go to Global Settings → Billing → Subscriptions → click ••• / Manage → Cancel subscription / Delete.
