Request for Explanation of Jira Standard Billing Estimate

Hello Atlassian Support,

I subscribed to Jira Standard for the first time on October 13, 2026, with 13 users.

However, my billing page shows a next bill estimate of USD 219.62

Since this is my first paid subscription and I have only 13 users, I would appreciate a detailed explanation of how these charges were calculated.

Could you please clarify why the prorated charge is so high and confirm the expected recurring monthly cost for 13 users?

Just to add to the suggestions above (or below 🤔) - I recently put together a step-by-step guide on contacting Atlassian Billing & Licensing Support.

It includes screenshots of the submission process and explains what to do if you can't find the Submit button or get stuck with the suggested help articles.

Your next-bill estimate may include the regular subscription cost, prorated charges, and applicable taxes.
