Recent updates to Jira not displaying correctly in Safari browser

This is for the atlassian team -

This morning (10/09/26)  I can no longer load Jira in Safari on MacOS correctly.  The whole page is messed up.  The jira icon is showing up on the entire screen as 100% width and height to match that, and the rest of the page is on overlayed of top of the icon on a quarter left of the screen almost as if it would be a mobile device but isnt.  There is text overlapping each other.  It's a mess!   Do you support Safari - which is MacOS default browser?

As Joseph said, Safari should definitely be supported. It's still one of the biggest players on the market 👀

Typically, what you're seeing is due to failure to load CSS or static assets correctly.

You could try some of these to troubleshoot those issues you're experiencing:

Test in a Private Window: Open Safari and go to File > New Private Window. If Jira renders correctly here, the issue is likely caused by a browser extension (like an ad-blocker) or corrupt cached data.

Clear Browser Cache: Corrupt files can prevent new styles from loading. Clear your cache and cookies specifically for *.atlassian.net and *.atl-paas.net.

Check Safari Privacy Settings: Safari’s "Prevent cross-site tracking" or "Hide IP address" features can sometimes block resources required for Jira to display correctly. Try temporarily disabling these in Safari > Settings > Privacy.

Disable Extensions: Go to Safari > Settings > Extensions and turn off any active extensions, especially those related to security or ad-blocking, then refresh the page.

Also, sometimes, corporate network or VPN might cause issues. If possible, you could try switching to different network to see if that will help 🤔

It seems like Atlassian fixed this issue over the weekend as its now displaying as expected!
