It depends when did you receive a notification from Atlassian that due to inactivity your site will be deleted.

If a notification was sent recently thye will reactivate it.

Time really matters here, so I recommend taking action today. If a free site gets deactivated due to inactivity, it can only be restored within 14 days. After that, the data is permanently deleted, and Atlassian won't be able to recover it anymore.

I would contact Atlassian Billing, Licensing & Pricing Support right away:

In the form, select Your account > Reactivate a subscription. I would include these details so support can find your site quickly:

* Your site URL (yoursite.atlassian.net)
* The affected app (Jira, JSM or Confluence)
* The email address of the site admin
* The deactivation date from the final email

Once the site is up again, try to log in through your browser at least once every 40 days. Just viewing an issue, a dashboard, or an admin screen will reset the inactivity timer, so you can stay active without making any changes. API calls don’t affect this timer. It’s also a good idea to take regular manual backups since Atlassian doesn’t create restorable backups for Free plans. Remember, backups don’t cover everything, like automation rules and app data, so staying on top of backups helps keep your information safe.

If your Jira Cloud Free site was deactivated due to inactivity, I'd recommend contacting Atlassian Support to request reactivation.

When submitting the request, include your Jira site URL and the Request ID shown on the deactivation page, if one is available. You'll generally need to be a site administrator to request this.

If you're not sure whether the site was deactivated due to inactivity, Support should be able to help clarify the reason and the available options.

One important thing to keep in mind is that reactivation may depend on whether the site's data is still within the retention period, so I'd recommend contacting Support as soon as possible. 🙂
