Support Required – Jira Email Notification Issue

Hello,

As per tracking logs, the emails are being quarantined are being blocked by the rule "Inbound_Rule-Spam_TextPatterns_WithoutUnsubscribe."

The issue has been traced to the email disclaimer, which contains the text: “If you no longer wish to receive these emails, please update your preferences or unsubscribe here.” This text is triggering the rule and causing the emails to be blocked. Please ask the sender to remove this text from email and check.

Could you please resolve as HCLtech IDSs from plasmatherm.atlassian.net in jira comments

Based on the message trace, the emails are being quarantined by the rule "Inbound_Rule-Spam_TextPatterns_WithoutUnsubscribe."

we identified that the disclaimer text below is triggering the rule:

"If you no longer wish to receive these emails, please update your preferences or unsubscribe here."

Please ask the sender to remove this text from the email template/signature. Once updated, please test again and verify whether the emails are delivered successfully.

…it's not something you can configure. 🫤

The text "If you no longer wish to receive these emails, please update your preferences or unsubscribe here." is a standard, system-generated footer included in all Atlassian Cloud email notifications to comply with global email regulations.

There's this feature request: JRACLOUD-70569: Allow customized emails for the notifications in Jira.

As it's listed there, you could potentially use automation notifications instead which can be customized. 🤔
