How do I add the calendar widget to my dashboard?

If you do not find the widget/gadget in question (I don't recall a Calendar being one of them) - it is likely either a
-Custom Widget
-Marketplace App provided Widget
These are detailed in the document.

Hi @Becky, there is a native one. It's called the Work item Calendar Gadget, and it comes from Atlassian's Jira Calendar plugin, which is bundled with Jira Cloud.
It shows work items by Due date, plus version release dates. If it comes up empty, check that the work items actually have a Due date. That field has to be on the space's screens or work item layout for people to fill it in.
If you meant the calendar view inside a space rather than a dashboard widget, that's a separate tab in the space navigation.
