how to change login in bitbucket when using the Atlassian.atlascode extension in vscode?

Question

Hi, In vscode I've authenticated to bitbucket with the extension, I log myself out, I then try to authenticate with a different bitbucket account, but the extension inserts the first account name and there is no way to change it. Is there a way around this behaviour?

Thanks.

Thanks James, I had a look under ~/.vscode and /usr/share/code but couldn't find any cached material… I can just use another system so I've just done that. cheers, P

A common workaround is to fully sign out of the Atlassian/Bitbucket extension, then clear any cached Atlassian credentials or VS Code authentication sessions before signing in again. After restarting VS Code, try the Bitbucket login again; it should then prompt for the correct account instead of reusing the previous one.

Only thing I found was this →

Based on what I'm seeing - you may want to wait for an opportunity for it to prompt your browser for log in and switch accounts there?

I've had to juggle my main account and a secondary at times with our IDP/SCIM in our Org.

Not entirely sure if this is a VSCode Nuance in preference terms or something else.
