I’ve seen a few migrations where the Cloud replacement doesn’t cover all the same features. The biggest headaches usually come from small workflows that teams have built around specific apps. Workarounds can help, but they often add extra maintenance. A solid Cloud alternative would definitely be worth considering for those cases.

The best way I think will be to check the Marketplace and see some popular apps that weren't developed for Cloud.

Hi @Mykhailo Vashchuk ,

A few examples:

Workflow Essentials: there is no Cloud version. Jira Workflow Toolbox can be used instead, but teams need to map their existing workflow rules to the replacement.
ScriptRunner: Cloud exists, but it isn’t a direct replacement for every DC customization. Scripts need rewriting, Behaviours have partial parity, and custom REST endpoints aren’t available.
Structure: Synchronizers and manual hierarchy adjustments aren’t supported in Cloud.

For us the biggest gap was reporting — the Cloud replacement covered the basics, but a couple of custom reports we relied on just were not there, so we used a spreadsheet workaround for a while. I put together a short example of the kind of report we needed at https://example.com and yes, a proper Cloud app for that would definitely be worth paying for.

A follow-up on Structure, if you don't mind: when teams lose synchronizers in Cloud, which ones do they miss most (links, sub-tasks, filter, Agile), and what do they end up using instead — generators, Automation, or scripts?

Thanks, Fadoua! That's where I started — I went through Atlassian's list of Cloud alternatives first. Many apps that look "missing" turned out to have decent replacements, so now I'm looking for the gaps admins actually feel during migration.
