network options are not working in V10.2?

Hi Confluence experts,

In Confluence Data Center V9.2.25 when I click on my Avatar and select Network

I can hover the mouse on people that I am following and have the option to unfollow, go to their profile page etc.

I noticed that in Confluence DC V10.2.18 when I hover the mouse over the people that I follow, it does not display any options.

is this a bug or change of behavior?

In Confluence DC V10.2 there is no "Following: tab under profile :-(

It seems that your explanation might be related to Confluence Cloud?

I believe this is intentional (at least based on 10.2 release notes).

From what I've managed to find (I'm not on DC), it's basically this:

In older versions like 9.2.x, clicking or hovering over a profile image often acted as a direct hyperlink. In version 10.2, avatars have been converted into accessible buttons . This change was implemented to provide better support for screen readers and to facilitate more interactive user dialogs rather than simple page reloads .

And as for some alternatives, you can try the following:

Centralized Following List: Navigate to your Profile > Following tab. This page provides a list of everyone you follow with a dedicated Unfollow button next to each name for easy management .

Direct Profile Page: You can visit a user's full profile page directly to find the Unfollow button at the top.
