Enough with the changes

Lucia Greplova

Please stop constantly moving things around and redesigning the navigation.

Confluence is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate because the UI keeps changing. I don't want to relearn where things are every few months. This is especially frustrating with user management, which seems to move or change constantly.

Ahoj @Lucia Greplova :)

I share your pain.

The last time I got that frustrated was writing a step-by-step guide for Analytics only to discover that three premium sites I had access to, each had its own unique way to do the same thing.

As a writer and communicator, I find it borderline impossible to advice people on best practices as it's pretty much impossible to keep up with the Atlassians.

What might help is developing a habit of checking the Release summaries. It does help to an extent… although rollouts are more of a lottery.

I'll share your comment in our Champions channels.

@Lucia Greplova I second @Arkadiusz Wroblewski, just to add:

One thing that's helped me is using the command palette

So instead of learning where to go in UI, I use the cmd + K (or ctrl + K if Windows) shortcut and type in where I want to go. Tends to help speed up navigation to the admin areas
