Please run garbage collection on my repository (over 4 GB limit, real size 1.25 GiB)

Question

Workspace: orthored. Repository: orthored-masters-2.

Pushes are rejected with "Repository is over the size limit (4 GB) and will not accept further additions". A fresh git clone —mirror of the repository is 1.25 GiB (6,824 objects), so the reported size appears to be unreferenced or uncompacted data.

Please could Atlassian staff run garbage collection on the repository so that the reported size reflects the packed size?

We push about 100 MB of binary revisions per release. Can you also tell us why automatic garbage collection is not reclaiming this space?

Thanks, Matthew. The repository has no history to remove (a fresh mirror clone is 1.25 GiB), so the guide does not apply. I have now raised a support request with Atlassian for garbage collection.
