Comments not copied to worklog

We have added the Log Work field to our Resolve screen. We have also inabled the comments to be copied to the Worklog description:

Copying of comments to work description is currently enabled.

The comments are not being copied over to the work description. As a result, we have to look in two places, comments and worklog, to find all the mformation in regard to work done on an issue.

We are running JIRA v5.2

User error:

User was not entering the comment on the Resolve screen. They were being added (as a comment) after the ticket was resolved.

(info) When 'Copy Comment To Work Description' is enabled, your user's work log entries will be visible only to members of the project role or group selected in the padlock icon dropdown on their issue operation screen. If 'Copy Comment To Work Description' is disabled, your user's work log entries will be visible to anyone by default.

Thanks for the imput, but this is not the issue. The comment is not be copied at all - regardless of the padlock icon.

Please check this plugin. May be it is what you need. It will auto copy Work Description to Comment field.
