Change Request - Request to add Change Type Critical

Jira admin can add Critical as another Change type option.

For company-managed Jira Cloud, go to Settings → Work items → Fields, find Change type, then select ⋯ → Contexts and default value → Edit Options.

Add Critical in the context used by your project. If that context is shared, the option will also appear in other projects using it.

Any special approvals or automation for Critical need configuring separately.

Remember neither Atlassian or we as community cannot change anything in your Instance. If you are not Admin yourself, please adress that internally.
