Hello. I am using a translation tool to write this message.
When I open a page in Confluence using Chrome, an error like the one shown in the image appears briefly during the page transition. I have the appropriate permissions, and the page reloads without issues after waiting a few seconds, but the error appears every time I navigate, which is incredibly annoying. Is this happening only to me?

You are not alone. I am seeing the same thing.

I am also seeing that when I try to generate a PDF, the PDF generates without the desired content and with that same "lock" icon and a message (screenshot below). I had to generate reports through Word this morning because I couldn't get past this issue (even after doing the items discussed above - clearing cache, etc.)

I saw somewhere else that there as a "migration" completed in the last day(?). I did not look into that, but I would wonder if all this is related.

Try clearing your browser cache and resetting cookies/sessions pertaining to just Atlassian.

See if that doesn't' clear it up.

Thanks. I tried clearing the cache, using Incognito mode, and using a different browser, but the message "This content is currently locked" still appears for a few seconds during page transitions.
However, since the page displayed without issues when someone else opened it using their own account and PC, it seems the problem is specific to my account.

I think this is usually related to the device/browser itself and what you can do is disable any browser extensions (if you have them) to see if that will help 👀

If you'd like to confirm it's the device and rule out the account portion, I'd suggest reaching out to your Confluence or Atlassian admin 👈 They could log in through your account (via their device) to check if they are seeing the same thing. That's how we usually troubleshoot inconsistent UI behaviors.

Also, if your instance is on a paid plan, your admin could check with official support team and ask them to have a look 🎟️
If you open a ticket, you'll probably need to provide HAR files for web and network analysis.

I've seen it on my own pages in my own space… I think it's just an events going out of sync for a couple of miliseconds.

Depending on how Permissions are checked from backend layer, probably that will be the thing.

The only remotely similar situation I've seen is when context switching (the 4 square button in your jira/confluence/et al interface. I have to refresh once or twice. It loads with "Errors."

But our cloud instance is very large.

Thanks, everyone. It’s a bit of a relief to know that others are facing the same issue. Dealing with a large number of documents in a project inevitably increases the likelihood of encountering this. It was happening only with a specific team member's account, and the problem persisted even after switching PCs. I consulted the group administrator, but the cause remained unknown. If this is a bug in Confluence, I certainly hope it gets fixed eventually.
