Matthew’s suggestion is the first thing I would check.

The error Error retrieving the work type fields for project/typeId - 10371/10424 usually means Automation cannot access the create metadata for that target space/work type.

I would verify three things

1. The rule scope includes the target space/project.

2. The rule actor has Browse + Create work items permission in that target space.

3. Work type 10424 is actually available in project 10371.

As Matthew said, it would be great if you could share blocks/other parts of the automation so we can check them out. 👀

A couple of things that could be (apart from what was already stated):

* Fields referenced in automation are hidden (concept is a bit different with field schemes) from the work item's screens 
* Invalid work type - potentially you're trying to use a work type that's not associated with the target space's work type scheme (although that should be technically limited)
* If you're using smart values, try using field IDs instead of names (if you're using that)

All in all, if you could share some details or additional screenshots, that would be helpful.

Without seeing your automation layout we won't know for sure what's what.

We need context - and need to know what your trying to do.

If I had to guess?

You're automation lacks either scope - or access permissions - or both.

The "Actor" has to see what you need it to do - and it looks like it can't.
