Is there a way to copy a user story with Zephyr to another instance of Jira

Question

I am trying to copy all my user stories, with their attached bug reports, tests cases, and test executions(with Zephyr) from my school's Jira (which they eventually expire) on to the my Personal Cloud Jira I have on Atlassian. I would like to actually copy them, with the bug reports, test cases and test execution intact/attached not recreate them as that seems like doing the work all over again.

I can provide screenshots of you need them and the versions, or an other information you need, just ask.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The first questions needing to be answered are:

* Is your personal Jira system Jira Data Center (where you installed the software yourself on a physical or cloud provider infrastructure) or Jira Cloud?
* Answer the same question for the school system.
* Are you and administrator of any level for the school system; Space admin, Jira application admin, Site admin, or (if it is Jira Cloud) Organization Admin?
* If the school system is Jira Cloud, what is the subscription tier; Free, Standard, Premium, or Enterprise?
* Same question for your personal Jira system, if it is Jira Cloud.
* Do you have the same Zephyr app installed on your Jira system as is installed on the school system?
* Are you stories, bugs, and test cases all within a single project/space? Do all the item IDs start with the same project/space key; ie ABC-###?

If you are not some level of admin for the school system, then your option to copy the data is limited to exporting a copy of the data and importing it to your Jira instance. Your export option would be limited to the export available from the Issue Search/Search Work Items screen of the university system. This may not support exporting Zephyr test executions.

Any other option would require admin access to the university system.

Besides your options being dependent on your level of access, they are also dependent on whether the school system and your system are Data Center or Cloud.

Once you provide the answers to these questions we can offer better advice that pertains to the parameters of your situations.

In any case it will probably need involve your Administrator.
