Hello,

I fixed the trial issue. My account is no longer in the trial period and is now on the paid plan.

However, I still see this message in Jira:

« Les e-mails groupés sont désactivés

I have tried to activate it from the Outgoing Email settings, but the bulk email feature still appears disabled. Please help me activate it on my instance.

I think I had the same or a similar issue @Forsaatlanta - as the folks said, if you're on a trial or paid plan, technical support team should be able to resolve this. 🎟️

Generally, it should be resolved automatically when you start trial or switch plan, but sometimes things can glitch and you'll end up with things like you're seeing. 👀

Hi, adding to Tansu's reply: Jira's bulk Send email has two documented gates, and both have to pass. It's worth checking each before you open a ticket.

* Outgoing mail must be ON. Go to Settings (⚙) > System > Outgoing mail. If it shows as disabled, it also shows who disabled it and when. Bulk email follows that switch, so if outgoing mail is off, the bulk email page stays disabled even on a paid plan.
* The Jira app itself must be on a paid plan. Atlassian made bulk email a paid-only feature because spammers were abusing it from Free sites (announcement). In admin.atlassian.com > Billing, check that Jira shows Standard or Premium and is active. A paid Confluence or JSM subscription on the same site doesn't make Jira paid.

If both are fine and the page still says bulk emails are disabled, the anti-spam restriction probably hasn't been lifted since the upgrade. Atlassian notes that email limits can take a while to lift after a site moves from Free to paid, and that support can speed it up (Configure email notifications). Now that you're on a paid plan you can raise a technical ticket at support.atlassian.com/contact. Include your site URL, the date you upgraded, and a screenshot of the Outgoing mail page. That usually saves a round trip.

If you need to reach a group of users before support replies, an automation rule with the Send email action is a temporary workaround.

If you have you already updated the subscription level but face an error, you could also reach to Atlassian support via https://support.atlassian.com.
