Teamwork Graph capabilities roadmap

We’re a Marketplace Jira app team exploring Teamwork Graph (TWG) to improve reporting capabilities for our customers. Before we invest further in extending our reporting capabilities, we’d love to confirm a few things I couldn’t find clear answers to in the docs.

1. Custom entity types in Teamwork Graph
   • Will Marketplace apps be able to declare custom object types in TWG rather than generic documents? Connector Object Types
   • Will such custom entities (and their custom relationships) be indexable by Rovo Search / Rovo Chat and citable by Rovo Agents in the future? (Currently only some of them are)
   • Is there any timeline for this as TWG moves from EAP toward GA?
2. Home Dashboards Home Dashboards
   1. Could a customer generate a Home Dashboard chart showing test-execution metrics (pass/fail counts, trends, per-project rollups) sourced from data we inject into TWG?
   2. Is there any planned extension point for apps to contribute custom metrics, grouping, or aggregation to Home Dashboards?

We are currently in the research phase and would love to know what would be achievable with data inserted into Teamwork Graph in the future. This would help us create our roadmap.

For roadmap planning, I would treat the public Teamwork Graph connector object-type docs as the current contract, not as a promise that every Marketplace app can register arbitrary entities or relationships. Whether custom entities are searchable/citable also depends on the connector’s supported indexing and Rovo permissions, so I would validate the exact object types and scopes in the current developer documentation and test in an EAP tenant.

For Home Dashboards, the safest assumption is that charts and aggregations are limited to the data sources and extension points Atlassian currently exposes; injected TWG data should not be treated as automatically available for arbitrary customer-defined metrics. Keep a native Jira dashboard or the app’s own reporting view as the source of truth until Atlassian publishes GA support and an extension API.

For the roadmap, are you mainly blocked on custom entity indexing, or on exposing test metrics in Home Dashboards? Those are separate capability requests.
