Currently, when using the Quote option, most formatting from the original content is lost.
For example, content containing:
- headings
- numbered or bulleted lists
- inline code / code formatting
- other rich text elements
is converted into essentially plain text inside the quote. Basic formatting such as bold and italic appears to be preserved, but the overall structure is not.
It would be great if quoted content could retain the formatting of the original post/comment wherever possible.
This would make quotes much easier to read, especially when quoting technical answers, instructions, or other structured content.
