AI Agents not showing in JIRA

Hi team,

I am at a bit of a loss. I have been experimenting with some of the AI Agents in JIRA, and I set up a few through the Studio last week. They worked, and appeared on my tickets under Agents > Start Work. Unfortunately they have now disappeared from my project (SD) whilst they still appear in other projects (SC)

I've not made any changes, and everything looks present and correct as far as I can tell. Has anyone seen this before and able to steer me in the right direction?

Thanks for feedback so far guys.

I am an admin in the SD Project. The Agents were working fine when I set them up, they then mysteriously disappeared (but only from the SD Project) without any changes having been made (that I am aware of). I can still see the Agents, but they just do not appear in any SD tickets.

Because the agents still appear in SC, I’d compare the project-level configuration rather than recreate them. In Studio, verify that the agent is still published/active and that project SD is included in its deployment or access scope (not just the project where it was tested). Also compare the supported issue types and any project/role restrictions between SD and SC.

On an SD issue, confirm that the user can Browse, Edit, and transition the issue, and that the current status actually exposes the Start Work transition; workflow conditions can hide the Agents action even when the agent exists. A quick test is to open the same issue type in both projects and compare the agent’s published version, project scope, and permissions. If SD is in scope but the action is still absent, republish a no-op version and check the agent/automation audit or product status for a project-specific error.

Do you still have the right permission on both spaces, are you a member of the spaces?
