Board closed

My board was closed (https://trello.com/b/lEFsWtcd) with the reason "You’re a member of this board, but only board admins are able to reopen it. Please contact support for assistance."

My brother is/was the admin but he does not remember any of his accountdetails.

We really need this board, can I please be updated to an admin so I can use my board again?

Hi Helena – Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Because you’re currently a board member, not a board admin, you won’t be able to reopen the board yourself. Trello only allows a board admin to reopen a closed board.

Your best options are:

Have your brother recover his Trello/Atlassian account using the email address linked to it, then reopen the board or make you an admin. Trello’s account recovery process relies on access to the account email or existing login credentials.
If the board belongs to a Workspace, upgrading that Workspace to Standard or Premium may allow a Workspace admin to take control of the board and recover it.

Trello Support generally won’t simply transfer admin rights without being able to verify ownership, for security reasons. So I’d start with recovering your brother’s account first.
