One of our board users accidentally closed and deleted our board instead of deleting themselves from the board. Is there a way to get it back?
Hello @Daphne Zaaijer
Have one of the former board administrators check the following:
1. Go to Trello Home.
2. Navigate to Boards and select "View all closed boards."
If the board appears there, it has only been closed, and the board administrator can select "Re-open" to restore it.
However, if the user has taken the additional step of selecting "Permanently delete board" and then clicked "Delete," please note that, according to Atlassian, board deletion is permanent and deleted boards cannot be recovered.

Adding to @Ark 's answer: the closed-boards check is the right first step, so do that before anything else. Closing and deleting look similar in the moment, and people often stop at the "close" step without realizing it.
If the board really was deleted, Trello officially treats that as permanent. Even so, open a ticket with Atlassian support right away with the board name and roughly when it happened. The sooner you ask, the better whatever chance there is.
Once this is sorted, two things prevent a repeat: on Premium you can restrict who's allowed to close or delete boards in the workspace settings, and keeping an external backup of your boards means a deleted one can be rebuilt. That second part is what my company does (ProBackup, so obviously biased), but even a periodic manual JSON export from each board's menu beats having nothing.
