Delete Atlassian Account to change the email of a colleague to my own email

I want to change the email of the atlassian account of a former colleague to my own email adress, but i cant change it because I allready have an account. I allready deleted my own atlassian account, but the problem still occurs. Can you change the email adress for me?

Yes, I did allready follow these steps, without succes to change the email via the account of my leaving colleague.

Hi @Tom Kohlmann ,

If your colleague was an Org admin and he is not more with your organization, then as workaround, ask your IT teams to enable his email account and get the credentials. Try login to Atlassian site using his account. If you do not know the Atlassian password, you can try "Forgot password".

Once you are able to connect, try updating new email address in https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/email . If this is not possible, you need to contact https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
