Custom fields in JIRA

Can you create custom fields in JIRA that are required? Or are all custom fields optional?

Hi Carol

Yes you can! You just need to make then required when browsing then at Issues > Custom Fields. There will be a "Required" option at the right of the correspondent custom field.
