Hey everyone,
We've been running NanoClaw agent swarms internally to handle development tasks, planning, implementation, bug hunting, and honestly it's been a game changer for how fast we move.
But we hit a real friction point around visibility. When an agent swarm is running, it's essentially a black box. You kick off a task and then wait. There's no way to know if the architect agent is halfway through, if the coder is stuck, or if the whole thing silently failed. And because none of it connects to Jira, there's zero audit trail. Your project manager has no idea what the AI team actually did or decided.
We built a rough internal version to fix this for ourselves: a lightweight relay server that bridges our NanoClaw instance to Jira securely, plus a small Forge plugin that receives agent progress updates and posts them as comments on the relevant Jira issue. The agent runs on your hardware, and all communication stays within your control. No Jira data passes through a third party cloud.
The result is that every agent action, planning decisions, implementation notes, test results, becomes a timestamped comment on the issue. Full audit trail, native to Jira, nothing going to third party servers.
We've shipped Marketplace apps before, so we know what it takes to turn this internal tool into a proper, documented release. What we don't know is whether other teams are hitting the same wall. If this problem sounds familiar, let us know. It will tell us whether to invest the time. Early access is open for anyone who wants to shape it.
Are there teams here using local AI agent setups, NanoClaw, n8n, anything self hosted, who would find a Jira bridge useful? Happy to share early access with anyone willing to test and give feedback.
Regards,
Emiliano
