I want to send web request using Jira REST API from within Jira.

I need the ip address from where the API call will be sent from, so our Network security team can allow this ip address through the company firewall.

Atlassian publishes official IP ranges here:

https://ip-ranges.atlassian.com/

Your network team should:

• Allow outbound traffic to these IP ranges, or
• Preferably allow by domain name:
  • *.atlassian.net
  • api.atlassian.com
