Building an automatuon rule that using Rovo to create a page and run a Scenario

Question

AIM: Create a Confluence page to show my squads Sprint Status Report

Manual process:

1. Created a Confluence -

2. Added a SMART BUTTON which when clicked runs a Rovo request to Create a new child page called "My Squads Latest Status Report" and populates it with info about current sprint

3. At the end of each week, I need to manually delete that page in Confluence and rerun the SMART BUTTON

I would like to setup a Confluence Automation Rule that will

- Each week (Friday 9am)

- Create a new Confluence page

- Select a Rovo Agent

- Run a setup Scenario to populate the crated page <-- Issue

- Send an email notification (able to do)

Is this even possible?

Hi @BIL

We have it nicely working now.

Each week any previous report pages are removed and a new (latest) report is generated

Steps

1. Run the Report on a weekly basis and at setup time

2. Find any previous reports with label = "executive-digest"

3. Delete/Archieve that page

4. Open a Jira Agent (Mines called EM Agent) and run what I want in my report

5. Output that Agents data {{agentResponse}}

6. Create a New Confluence Page with a title e.g.  Status Report - {{now.convertToTimeZone("Europe/Dublin").format("dd MMM yyyy, HH:mm")}}

7. Add to the new Confluence page label = "executive-digest"

8. You can also add an Email so you/team members get a link to the newly created page

We've had this running for some time now and it works fine

Hi @Jamie Scott

Please note in the flow of your rule, started manually from a page, that it:

* deletes the current page
* creates a new one
* and then attempts to use Rovo to update the current page

But, the current page is gone now...and do not believe Confluence rules have a branch to most-recently-created-page.

Have you tried removing the page delete, and changing the prompt to replace the content of the current page?

I also tried to setup an automation.

1. Manual Trigger

2. Find the page

3. Delete it

4. Create a new page <-- Couldn't get this to work

5. Use Rovo to populate the page <-- Couldn't get this to work, perhaps becuase of step 4

6. Email me

Any help would be appreciated
