I have a trello account when I try to log in it tells me to get the code from my authenticator app.

Question

I don't have an authenticator app for Trello or Atlassian.  I have one for another system but don't know what to do to get in my Trello accounmt

Hi @Bill Taylor,

Apologies on delay on our end!

If the issue still persists, try this troubleshooting:

* Go to https://id.atlassian.com

* Enter email and password

* When prompted for a verification code, select "Can't use your phone?"

* On the recovery code screen, choose "Can't find your recovery key?"

* Select "Send recovery email" → they'll get an email: "Steps to recover your Atlassian account"

* Wait 24 hours → a second email arrives: "Let's get you back into your Atlassian account"

* Click the one-time link in that email to access the account and manage 2FA settings

⚠️ Important: The link expires 24 hours after it's sent and can only be used once.

If all of the above mentioned steps do not remedy the issue, please raise a ticket with our support team:

* Visit our Support portal.
* If you can't log in to the portal, select "Unable to log in" from the options provided.
* Provide your email address.
* How can we help you?* -> Other.
* Skip Provide the related URL, SEN, EN or invoice number (if applicable) field.
* Describe your issue.
* Submit a ticket.

Support team will be able to look into the problem and help you resolve any outstanding issues.
