Confiforms: Using a form to allow users to download from another form

Hello,

I am trying to create a form "AgreementForm" that requires users to provide information to be able to download from "DocumentsForm".

In DocumentsForm I ideally want to use "Hide field when stored data (for given record) matches this criteria" with a filter to only show the Attachment Field when they completed AgreementForm.

How can I reference from one form to another, to see if the Current User matches any submissions of AgreementForm?

I'm sure Alex here (from ConfiForms) will chime in, but you could also reach out to Vertuna (vendor) directly by submitting a support request via one of their support channels. 🎟️

I have only tested ConfiForms a couple of times, but vendors are usually quite responsive when it comes to troubleshooting or general use case questions.

I'm not looking to have the form filtered per say, but to simply hide a single Field on the CleanView of "DocumentsForm" until the current user has completed the "AgreementForm"

If you are on the DC then you can use the "IF Matches" macro around this field and use the "queryCount" function, for example, to query other form - https://wiki.vertuna.com/spaces/CONFIFORMS/pages/2359385/Virtual+functions

Something like

_func.queryCount(AgreementForm:@self;createdBy:[entry._user]):>0
