Is there a way to accomplish the following:
- Create a JIRA issue and populate a custom field called Requestor.
- Create a user macro in Confluence that does the following:
- Specify a JIRA issue number
- Locate and read the Requestor field
- Print the value of the Requestor field onto a Confluence page
- Put the macro onto a Confluence page and set it for the issue and pull the specific field.
I'm trying to find ways to increase the integration for certain individual fields so that content is updated in one location and automatically updated in another. The JIRA Issues macro is not what I need/want to create. I want to pull specific fields from JIRA into Confluence.
We already have Confluence and JIRA linked together to pull in issues.
