Hi, Jira Admins!
Here we are back again with another round of fresh tips and helpful content for you to share with your users and gather inspiration from. (ICYMI: check out the previous editions of this series here!)
Grab the resources below to share with your teams by dropping some of the tips weekly in your Slack and Teams channels, company emails, or internal training resources — or share them all at once in a user enablement content pack.
💡 Empower your users with quick tips each week
As a Jira Admin, you play a key role in helping your teams manage projects, track their progress, and get things done. We're here to support you!
Pick a favorite tip or share one each week over the next month with your organization’s Jira users. You can do this through Slack or Teams, on your company wiki, or even via email. It’s a great way to empower your end users.
Tip #1: Save time: Inline editing in list view
⭐️ Edit work item fields directly from the list view—no need to open each work item. This is a huge time-saver for updating statuses, assignees, or priorities in bulk.⭐️ To do this → switch to List view in your project and double-click any field to edit.
Tip #2: Improve your work items' quality with AI
⭐️ Use Rovo’s “Improve Story” or “Improve Description” features to rewrite, summarize, or clarify Jira issue descriptions.
⭐️ Rovo can also translate or adjust the tone for different audiences.
Tip #3: Save time: Clone work items
⭐️ You can clone a work item to create a new one with the same information. Use the “•••” (more actions) menu and select “Clone.”
Tip #4: Mobile power tip: Get work done on the go
⭐️ The Jira mobile app supports advanced features, including voice-to-text for comments, push notifications for custom filters, and offline issue creation.→ Download the latest Jira mobile app and explore the “Power Tips” section in the app menu!

Sometimes, it's helpful to get back to the basics. Community Champion @Rob Hean provides us with a breakdown of Jira's structure. Here's the TL;DR:
Grab the full guide here to go over how Jira is structured, from the Organization all the way down to the field.
Appreciate the shoutout! It's really easy to forget about the basics since once we learn them we take them for granted. (Also, sometimes they change...)
I always love these! Is there a plan to offer something similar for Confluence, Rovo, Loom, or the Teamwork Collection as a whole? 🥹
So glad to hear this, @Amanda Barber! Let me check in with the teams!
Seems like I almost missed @Rob Hean's article about Jira's structure. Thanks for highlighting it!
@Thorsten Letschert _Decadis AG_ it's a gem!
