Did you changed the look of the kalender power-up?

Has the calendar power-up view changed?

I use the calendar power-up and have noticed that the appearance has changed. Unfortunately, it now looks exactly like the calendar view that Trello provides. I haven't found any settings for this in the power-up. How can I restore the original view?

Thanks for your help.

Functionally, the power-up hasn't changed. I have tested and compared to the original screenshots. The design has shifted because some of the design elements (font, style, colouring) has been updated as part of the the recent Trello updates.

Can I ask, what are you missing from this?

Also, I can see that the Premium tag is on this question, why do you opt for the calendar power-up above the calendar view in premium?

We’re missing the column headers in the weekly view — they’ve disappeared since yesterday. Having those visible really helps us maintain a clear overview.

Am I missing something???

Old (very old by the looks of it)

Current

It looks like the current one displays all the same information as the old one?! What am I missing here?

Here as well, the calendar layout has been updated, and unfortunately, very important visual features have been removed, such as the list to which each card belongs.

Dear Mike! There are may differeces, and functional changeing! Now the power up is the same as the siply calendar view. Almost every team member! But one had the old, good power up, with every well-known functions! Please load back the old one as soon as possible, because now it is absolutely unuseable!! Mike!! It's not the same! There is no right click options, we cannot make new cards on the weekly view, only few infos on the screen, and the cards just foaden into the culombs. It is awful!

I should agree with Lipták Gábor. Some days ago, my Calendar power-up also changed and since then it is completely useless for me. I attach an old-good and a new-bad screenshot. the difference is clearly visible.

please, set the old Calendar power-up back or if it is still available, tell me, how to set it up.

thanks in advance,

This update is causing significant issues for our team and disrupting our workflow. Only about half of our users seem to be affected by the new calendar view, which makes it even more confusing!

The biggest issue with the view change is that we can no longer see the individual columns in our week board view. Previously, we could view distinct titles such as (“Sponsored Queue” or “Good to Go”) organized by day, that layout was essential for our tracking and planning. In the new graph-style view, visual clarity is lost.

A few questions and concerns:

Why weren’t users notified of this change?
If our Power-Up still lists this functionality, can it be leveraged to restore the previous view?
If not, what workaround can we implement to mirror the original “by day” column view?

Attached screenshots, this update has a direct negative impact on visibility and coordination across our team, especially when managing longer flights in the w Screenshot 2025-11-10 at 9.45.17 PM.png Screenshot 2025-11-10 at 4.47.33 PM (1).png

I tried to find, what could have gone wrong, and I noticed, that the old look is partially still there, but it seems, that the Calendar PowerUp has been overlaid by (is above) the standard Calendar.

on the attached image, I marked OK and NOK. OK is, what I used to and would like to see, NOK is what I actually see. I hope, the problem is clear so visualized😕

Trello developers, please, respond. It seems, that it is not me alone, who has problems with this update. in my earlier post I attached the look, I used to see and liked very much. could you set it back?

thanks for help in advance,

We don't like this change, either! We never used the Calendar View because it was inferior to the Calendar Power Up, but now the Power Up is exactly the same as the Calendar View. What's the point of that???

I can't even give examples of what we found better, because the old view is gone, so it's hard to be specific.

Does anyone know where the right place to complain to Trello is? I mean, respectfully request a feature update, which would be reverting to the old design.

Do you guys offer workflow assistance since you're unable to advise on the trello changes?

Firstly, I've been getting some heat on here but I need to tell you that I am not an Atlassian employee. I am an independent Trello expert and while I do have some friends inside the Trello team, I have no say in what they do...

I have this update from a member of the team, if it helps:

In the past couple of years, a lot of Trello was rewritten to make it more efficient to maintain and make improvements. A lot of effort goes into each part of the rewrite, so we decided only to rewrite the Calendar View and not the Power-Up, with the goal of eventually consolidating the code for efficiency, and that's what's happening now. We've been monitoring the feedback and have already addressed some of the top complaints — for example, quick edit has been reinstated, and it's possible again to drag checklist items on the calendar. Most of the top remaining complaints are related to information being truncated — this is due to how the Calendar View is structured, but we're considering options for improving this. It won't be possible to address every complaint, but the goal is to cover all of the major ones and to eventually bring these improvements to the Calendar View as well.

I think these changes should have been communicated better so I have escalated this question to Atlassian support so they provide a more detailed explanation

Mario Nosoline

I also can't drag and drop cards from one week day to another, if the cards are below the original view range...

If I have a bunch of cards on one day of the week column and have to scroll down to see them, suddenly I can't drag that card to other day if I have to... only the cards that are above any scrolling

Completely useless update... 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Lipták Gábor

Hy Mike did U get any answer? We can not! We just criing every day on the other side and pay for it, and nothing happens! Is there anybody who can help us?

Perry Wheeler

I think this is now officially in the 'So sad... Too bad' basket. It's a shame, we've been huge fans of trello for many years. But we just can't continue to try to work with this change.

Dear Trello Developers, Anyone competent!

Could we expect the old Calendar Power-Up back at any time? Unfortunately, this new version is absolutely not functional for me (and for most of us, as discussed above). And it is not the design or something less important. It is about the core of the Power Up. Something went very wrong!

Or shall we accept this new version? It would be very sad, because I (and many) liked the old version. It was practical, useful, simply perfect.

thanks for reply in advance,

Gabor

Hello @Vámosi Gábor ,

Good day! I have reached out to the Trello team to get more insights on this and will keep you updated.

Vámosi Gábor

thanks in advance. I am waiting it very much.

Sašo Jakljevič_clh963

Hi @Vámosi Gábor have yiu found the solution for this?

If not, do you have a sceenshot how the calendar looked before vs how it does now and what specificaly is the issue? I might be able to build something but want to make sure that I build the right thing.

Welcome!
