Confiform - Help with permissions between Confluence & Jira

Question

I have a Confiform that, on submission, creates a story in Jira with an attachment and sends an email. This works when the user has individual permissions for the Confluence site and the Jira project ie they are listed by name in the site permissions.

If a user has only AD group access, when the form submits it creates a record in the confluence datastore but throws an error and the attachment is not saved to the confluence attachments. The Jira ticket is not created.

* Page permissions are Everyone Can View.
* Confluence permissions include View All and Add attachment for the AD group.
* Jira permissions include Browse Projects, Create Item and Create Attachment for the AD group.
* Bypass attachment upload permission is enabled for the form.

Any help on where to look to resolve this?

Thanks for the response, Alex. The debug gods opened my eyes and I finally saw that it was a Jira Assignee permission issue :)

Hi @Carla W_

The easiest way to troubleshoot this would be if you open a support ticket with us and provide the logs, so we can connect the Ref id with the logs and tell exactly what is going on

Most probably the user submitting the form does not have enough permissions in JIra
