confluence menu not working

We use Confluence Data Center (on-prem). We recently upgraded from version 8.5 to version 9.2.8, and now our left menu is missing. See below. We noticed some plugins need to be updated to be compatible with the upgraded version. We will try that and post our findings.

I recommend also to check if you there are some custom CSS/scripts on announcement banner or some apps with scripting capabilities.
