Trello board suddenly closed. Only the admin can reopen.

Question

I am trying to open a board that I am a member of, and I am getting a message that the board was closed and only board admins are able to open but that Admin no longer works for our company. How can I become the admin of the board and reopen it?

Hello! I have the same problem with my company. Suddenly the board closed and we are not able to recover it, because how ever created the board no longer works on the company (in fact we dont realy know who created it years ago)

I will check the board and will send you an email shortly to confirm if everything is working fine.

To explain what exactly happened, the admin account was deleted due to inactivity, which led to the closure of the boards.

@Michelle Porterfield  , I think I already answered your questions on other post, and you were able to reopen the board.I'm just tagging you here to explain what exactly happened.

That's what I suspect. I wasn't able to find any other way of communicating with someone.
