How do I turn off the new card layout?

ever since the beta became the default layout, Trello has become terrible. How long are we going to be forced to swallow this change? Haven’t you realized that people are already migrating to other tools? Are you trying to kill Trello? This isn’t about struggling to adapt to change — it’s because the cards and navigation have become really bad."

I cannot stand the new card layout. It's disappointing because Trello has worked really well for me in the past, but with this change I will likely find a new platform. It would be nice if they allowed users to choose their preferred layout. However, I will likely abandon Trello over this.
