Creating Notification Team Policy via API

Hi,

Has anyone successfully created team notification policies via the Opsgenie API?

I tried following the documentation here:
https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/alert-and-notification-policy-api

But it’s not very clear how to do this specifically for teams.

I'm using this endpoint:

But I keep getting this error:

<span>"message": "No handler found"</span>

Has anyone run into this or know what I'm missing?

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community.

At this time, Opsgenie does not provide a public API endpoint for creating or managing team-specific notification policies.

• The endpoint /v2/teams/{teamId}/notification-policies does not exist, which is why you are seeing the "No handler found" error.
• The only public API endpoints for policies are under /v2/policies, which are for global policies—not team-specific ones.
• Team notification policies can only be created and managed via the Opsgenie web UI. There is currently no officially documented or supported API for this use case
• For now, if you need to automate or manage team notification policies, you will need to do so manually through the Opsgenie interface.
