Websudo feature in bitbucket datacenter 8.19.9 is not working

I want to activate websudo feature in my bitbucket datacenter server so that when we will get to authenticate yourself again if we go ahead to perform administrative tasks, i have added below lines in my bitbucket.properties file.

feature.websudo=true

websudo.session.timeout=5m

 

and then restarted the bitbucket server, but still even i try to edit user directories, it does not give any any alert for reauthentication.

What can I do more, is this feature really available in bitbucket as it is in Jira?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi @Rashmi 

The reason it isn't working is that the websudo feature in Bitbucket Data center was introduced starting with version 9.0. You can check the release notes for more details. To use this feature, you'll need to upgrade Bitbucket to version 9.0 or later.
