Support - need to change admin

Hi! I need to get in contact with the support team but can't find any form or email?

We need to change admin at our trello board. They person who is currently admin is no longer working for us and the email is not working any more since it is terminated. 

What can we do to make this changes?

If you're looking to change the admin on a Trello board or workspace (especially in the Free plan), here are the key ways to make it happen:

 

1. Add a New Admin Manually

1. Invite the new person to the workspace (if workspace-level) or directly to the board.
2. Go to Workspace > Members or Board > Members, locate the user, and select Make Workspace Admin or Make Admin for the board.
   If you're the current admin, this method is straightforward.

 

2. When the Only Admin Left Has Left the Company

If the only admin is gone and you don't have any other admins:

• Trello’s support or Atlassian support must manually reassign admin rights community.atlassian.com+9community.atlassian.com+9community.atlassian.com+9community.atlassian.comcommunity.atlassian.com.
• For Free accounts, Trello Support can transfer a board to a workspace you control, making another user the admin .

 

3. Recovering Admin Access

If you're locked out after someone left:

1. Go to the Trello Support page on managing admins
2. Submit a request specifying:
   • The workspace or board URL
   • Details of the departed admin and your current role
3. Support will reassess and reassign the admin role to a current member community.atlassian.com.

 

 TL;DR:

• If an admin is still active: add/send invite > assign as admin.
• If no admins remain: contact Trello Support to reassign.
