Copy Project Builtin script function

I'm using the copy project builtin script with issues however in the new project status of all tickets is getting changed to open irrespective of status in old project. Is it supposed to work in this way?

The Copy Project script does not copy issue statuses at the moment.

Feel free to request that functionality by opening an improvement ticket in jamieechlin.atlassian.net.

Thanks Alejo. However in JIRA 5.1.6 it makes the exact replica including status, created date etc and many other fields. JIRA 5.1.6 is the most stable version I've ever seen so far.
