Question on bulk upload of epics and stories in jira

Question

Hello Jira team,

I need help please. Is ADMIN PERMISSION mandatory to do bulk upload of epics and stories in jira (through a csv file) in an already existing project? If yes, then I would request you to provide an alternate way to do bulk upload of the same as the my client is not providing me with the admin permissions.

As far as I know, only one of them (clients) has the admin permissions. Also it is not recommended to ask them to do this task as I am assigned with this responsibility.

The best I can do is to ask them to provide me the admin permissions, IF NO OTHER WAY OUT. Kindly confirm on this part.
