Hello,I want to know why the Atlassian Guard limit has been breached and why it does not match the current license of Jira/Confluence.
Hi @Manoj Kumar ,
I can see from your screenshot that you have Jira, JSM, and Confluence all under Enterprise plans, and Guard standard. Firstly, all users that are assigned a license to an Enterprise tier product are granted a Guard license at no cost (as this is included in the Enterprise plan).
This means that there are 676 users in your organization that do not currently have a license to an Enterprise product, but have been claimed as managed, and have access to another non-enterprise product within your organization.
To reduce the number of users that are being assigned to the Guard Standard billing, I would encourage you to review the list and assign them an Enterprise License, or modify their licenses to non-billable types. Atlassian provides a list of users that would be considered "Non-billable".
Product
Accounts not considered unique billable users
Confluence
Any managed account and external user on an Enterprise plan
Jira
Loom
Jira Service Management
Any managed account, external user and customer account on an Enterprise plan
Statuspage
Any managed account and external user that has access to:
a public page on a Startup, Business or Enterprise plan
a private page on any plan
an audience specific page
Trello
Any managed account and external user on an Enterprise plan, or not part of a Trello workspace.
For more information on how Guard bills against users, I would also encourage you to review the Atlassian documentation here: https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/manage-your-bill-for-atlassian-guard-standard/
Hope that helps!
Robert
