Moving a mirrored card via automation when it's marked complete?

I've been trying to set up on automation that moves my mirrored cards into a complete list when it's marked complete on the card.  It properly checks off the source card and appears checked on the mirrored card only to auto-uncheck seconds later.  Then i have to click the mirrored card again wherein the green check remains.

Bellow is the automation I've tried to setup to sort the card into the complete list but I'm not having much luck.  I'm new to Trello and not super confident in the automations quite yet.  Any help or clarification either way would be appreciated.

Hi Brian! Welcome to Trello community.

From what I understand, you will need to make a quick adjustment in the automation rule.

I assume you are clicking the source card as completed right? If so, to the automation works fine and move the mirrored card to the complete list, you will need to add in the automation the target board.

So the automation needs to be created on the Source board like the example below:

when the card is marked as completed in the card, find a card titled {cardlink} on board TargetBoard and move the card to the top of the list Complete.

Specifying the Target board in the automation it will make it to find the card in the Target Board and move it to the Complete list.
