Hi Gaby,

I don't believe there is tool (plugin or so) for it. Luther's workaround is good thing to keep things simple.

Also there's a plugin that might help: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.metainf.jira.plugin.emailissue

This is often accomplished by just copying and pasting the contents of an email into an issue. It's an extra step, but a great way to keep track of communication.
