How can I change approvers

Question

Hi, I have created a new project and have run into a problem. I'm using approvals with approvers from assets and I can't change them when I need to.
For example, I have an Assets cf field Department that specifies the approvers.
Dep1 - User1 Dep2 - User2

If I set cf Department = Dep1, the system correctly sets User1 as the approver. But if I change the Department to Dep2, it still sets User1 as the approver.
Is there a way to change or delete approvers so that it is possible to change approvers if necessary?

Can you describe that relationship with Assets a little more? What separates those tickets from other tickets? How does that affect the number of Departments involved or the approvers?

@John Funk Thanks for the suggestion, but there are so many departments :)  In general, I'd like to deal specifically with the use of approvals with approvers from Assets.
If it turns out that this is not possible, I can always write a script that automatically fills the cf Approvers :)

Hi Aleksandr,

I would create an automation rule based on a Field Value Changed trigger. Then select the department. Then do a Condition with IF/ELSE and under each, set the Approvers field with the appropriate people.
